A Snowy Country Christmas

This lovely card is another design inspired by Sheena Douglass and using her beautiful stamps.  The base card is snow white centura pearl card.  The background paper is the same as in the previous card, black 'linen textured' paper which is stamped with a fir tree landscape image, using white Brilliance ink.  The focal panel is white card on to which a wintery scene has been built up using several images.  The scene starts with another fir tree landscape image stamped in black.  A large single fir tree is stamped over the first image and offset, giving the picture some perspective.  A stag is then stamped next to the tree to complete the scene.  All the stamped images are silhouette stamps.   The edges of the panel are tinted with black ink and the sky is created.  Two types of white glitter are mixed and added to the trees and to create drifts in the snow.  The panel is then matted on to silver mirror card, then the background paper is attached to the base card and the focal panel added with both panels slightly offset.  A greeting is stamped on to a piece of white card, die cut and matted on to silver mirror card, and the mixed glitter is added.  The greeting panel is attached to the card with dimentional glue, and some gorgeous die cut swirls complete the design.
