A Touch of Yesterday

This design is a favourite of mine, I love the vintage look and colours.  The base card is
white and has been spritzed with AntiqueGold glimmer mist.  A pale distress ink, such as Brushed Corduroy or Pale Linen is used to tint the edges, giving the card an aged and distressed look.  A vintage flourish and some text are stamped around the edges using the same ink.  A frame is made in dark brown card with a large die cut, then some printed script background paper is die cut and the edges tinted with distress ink.  Another shaped panel is cut out of white card that has two or three colours of distress inks blended on to it.  A fobwatch, a key, and a text are stamped on to the panel using second generation ink.  Then a sentiment is stamped over the background.  Another clockface and a key are stamped onto card that has been coloured as before, then a glaze medium is added to create shine and dimension.  A butterfly is stamped and heat embossed on to dark brown paper and glitter is added.  The printed script panel is matted on to the dark brown card and attached to the base card.  The sentiment panel, watch, key and butterfly are all attached using dimentional glue.  A piece of brown ribbon has been used to link the fobwatch and key, and a greeting adds the finishing touch.
