Plum Blossom.

Another Oriental inspired design which again combines a couple of different techniques.  The main focal panel is glossy card and has the Geisha Girl stamped in dye ink.  The image is then covered with a mask,  then the tree and flowers are stamped over the girl.  When the mask is removed the girl appears to be in front of the tree etc.  she is then painted with H2O's.  Some more flowers are stamped at the bottom of the panel to give the effect of the girl walking through a garden.  Using a sparkle pen the blossom on the trees and some of the flowers are coloured.  The focal panel is then matted onto black card.  The base card is is a co-ordinating coloured cardstock.  Cherry blossom branches are stamped and heat embossed around the edges, then the blossoms are coloured with the glitter pen.  The little screen is created from a wide strip of vellum.  Some Oriental script is stamped and heat embossed onto the vellum, then one end is wrapped around a small bamboo skewer and attached to the card..A greeting adds the finishing touch.
